The department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics offers an extensive range of healthcare services ranging from antenatal care to treatment for any female reproductive healthcare problem. We offer a committed, patient centred service with a team of experienced clinicians and specialist nursing staff who specialise in providing the very best care, advice and support. We provide a wide range of healthcare, educative and supportive services from preconception planning, antenatal care to pregnancy care, child birth and postpartum care. Furthermore, our team of dedicated gynaecological surgeons specialise in non-cancerous (benign) and cancerous (malignant) conditions, using the most clinically advanced techniques like Minimally Invasive Surgery.

We have an excellent labour ward and staff who offer tender, loving care. The doctors are present at all times, so emergencies are handled effectively. However, if and when a caesarean is needed, we have an excellent OT with competent doctors and assistants. Even the decision to do a caesarean is taken only in consultation with the mother and her partner. All deliveries are attended by a neonatologist, ensuring that the baby receives good care from the start itself.

For high risk cases and pregnancies, we have the facilities of 18-bedded ICU, in-house Physicians and Intensivists who are prepared for any emergencies.
